Ivory opens with saffron and a touch of bergamot — bright and slightly spiced, the traditional way an oud fragrance announces itself. Underneath that, rose and jasmine soften everything, and sandalwood begins coming through within the first half hour. The base is where Ivory earns its name: a white oud accord that’s creamy and smooth rather than smoky, wrapped in amber and clean musk.

If you’ve tried traditional Arabic oud and found it too heavy, too smoky, or too animatic — this is the version built for you. White oud is the refined end of the family. It keeps the depth and the staying power, but loses the barnyard edge that puts a lot of people off.

What “white oud” actually means

Oud comes from agarwood resin. Traditional oud — the kind you’ll smell in Gulf fragrances and bakhoor — is dark, smoky and intense. White oud describes a lighter, cleaner interpretation: the woody richness is still there, but blended with musk, sandalwood and soft florals so the result is smooth rather than sharp.

It’s the more wearable version. Traditional oud can dominate a room; white oud sits closer to the skin and works in company.

Why it lasts longer than our other scents

Oud and sandalwood are heavy molecules. They evaporate slowly, which is exactly why oud-based fragrances have been worn for centuries at weddings and long events.

Expect 7 to 9 hours on skin — noticeably longer than Aqua (5–7) and a little longer than Gold (6–8). That’s not marketing, it’s just how the ingredients behave. On fabric, oud can linger considerably longer, so be careful with light clothing.

How to wear it

Go lighter than you think. Two sprays on pulse points is enough — oud builds on skin over the first hour, so what smells modest at the start will be fully present by the time you arrive.
