Ghazi Fragrances is the perfume brand of ABC Chemical Supplier, a registered chemical company based in Multan and trading since 2020. We hold a valid import and export licence, we are a member of the Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and our documentation is complete and available on request.

That matters more than it sounds. Because we import directly, we choose our own raw materials and we know exactly what is in every batch — the grade, the supplier and the certificate that came with it. A company buying finished perfume from a third party cannot tell you any of that, because they were never told either.

The alcohol — where most cheap perfume fails

Perfume is mostly alcohol. That single fact decides how a fragrance smells in the first thirty seconds, how it sits on skin, and whether it irritates you.

We use perfumer’s grade ethanol — the same specification used in fine fragrance manufacturing. It is clean and effectively odourless, so the fragrance oil is the only thing you smell. A lot of inexpensive product in this market uses industrial or heavily denatured alcohol instead, which carries its own harsh top note. That is the sharp, spirit-like blast you get from a cheap spray in the first few seconds, and it is also the most common cause of skin irritation.

Perfume-grade ethanol costs considerably more. As an importer we absorb that at source rather than passing a compromise on to you.

The fragrance oils

Every aromatic material we use is A-grade, sourced from established suppliers and accompanied by its documentation. Grade is not a marketing word in chemistry — it describes purity, and purity is what decides whether a note smells like the thing it is meant to be or like an approximation of it.

It also decides how a fragrance ages. Lower-grade materials oxidise faster, which is why some perfumes smell noticeably different six months after opening.

Extrait de parfum, not eau de toilette

Every fragrance we make is an extrait de parfum at roughly 25% aromatic oil. Most of what is sold in Pakistan is eau de toilette at 5–15%, or body spray at 1–3%.

This is the honest answer to the most common complaint about perfume in Pakistan — that it disappears within an hour. It is not bad luck and it is not your skin. It is concentration.

The International Fragrance Association sets the safety limits the global fragrance industry works to. IFRA standards specify how much of each aromatic material can safely be used in a product that sits on skin — some materials are restricted to a percentage, others prohibited entirely.

We formulate to those limits. It constrains what we can do — there are materials we would like to use more of and cannot — but skin safety is not a place to improvise, particularly at extrait concentration where every material is present in greater quantity.

Very little of what is sold cheaply in this market is formulated with these limits in mind, because nobody is checking. We do it because we are a chemical company first, and this is simply how you are supposed to work.

What “Inspired By” Means Here

Several of our fragrances are inspired by well-known designer and niche perfumes. We name the fragrance that inspired each one, on its own product page, every time.

These are our own compositions, blended in the same scent territory as the originals. They are not those perfumes, they are not sold under anyone else’s name, and we have no affiliation with the houses that make them. If you know the original, ours will smell familiar rather than identical — no inspired blend matches an original note for note, and anyone claiming otherwise is overselling.

We will never tell you a bottle is something it is not. That is the line we do not cross, and it is the reason we put all of this in writing rather than leaving you to guess.
